Want to get involved?

Giving of yourself or as a congregation is much more powerful in the lives of people than simply giving money.

Over the years, FIES has been blessed with numerous volunteers who, individually and as congregations, have made an impact on the lives of many of the people they have touched by their community service.

Whether it is working in the office as an assistant, providing food pickup, helping with maintenance, bagging food or a host of other opportunities, there is a place you or your congregation can volunteer.

It’s never been easy to be a teenager. We talk about the many pressures young people face today –bullying, the Internet, drugs, on and on. But conflict with family and authority is as old as time. Many of us make errors in judgment in youth but usually those mistakes don’t stay with us as we grow older. On the other hand, some of us make youthful mistakes that radically change the course of our lives.
