Fies – Volunteer Opportunities
Want to Make a Difference?
Volunteers are at the heart of FIES and provide the helping hands that make it possible for FIES to serve the hungry and homeless. Over the years, FIES has been blessed with numerous volunteers who, individually or as part of a community group or one of our many supporting congregations, have made a difference in the lives of the many men, women and children who come to FIES for help. Join our volunteers and you too can make a difference.
FIES has many volunteer opportunities and you can help whether you have a little or a lot of time to offer. Volunteers are needed to help in the office, pick up food, sort donated goods, interview walk-in clients and bag and distribute food, just to name a few of the many opportunities where volunteers can make a difference.
The FIES programs operate through the support and drive of hundreds of volunteers from local congregations, community groups, and individuals.
We have more than 30 congregations supporting our efforts and supplying the majority of our volunteers.
